NSW: Man dies from gun shot wound

A 31-year-old man has died after being shot in the chest in a shop in Sydney's north.

The man was rushed to the Royal North Shore Hospital while paramedics conducted CPR
and administered a breathing apparatus.

A spokeswoman for the hospital says the man died a short time after his arrival.

Police say the man was shot in a telecommunications shop on Victoria Road at Gladesville
about 12.30pm (AEDT) today.

They have appealed for anyone with information to contact Gladesville Police or CrimeStoppers.
