Fed: Sebastian misses out on World Idol title

SYDNEY, Jan 2 AAP - Norway's Kurt Nilsen has won the World Idol crown, beating 10 other
contenders including Australia's Guy Sebastian.

Sebastian, 21, from Adelaide, wowed judges in the international contest which was taped
in London before Christmas and broadcast to a world-wide audience of 100 million viewers
on Boxing Day.

But Sebastian's rhythm and blues version of the Louis Armstrong ballad What a Wonderful
World was not enough to secure the title over Nilsen.
